Project R&R: Release & Restitution for chimpanzees in US
laboratories: A project of the New England Anti-Vivisection Society, Project R&R's mission is to end the use of chimpanzees in biomedical research and testing and to help provide them release and restitution in permanent sanctuary. While Project R&R focuses on the U.S., their goal is for a worldwide end to harmful, intrusive, and lethal research on all great apes.

Save the Chimps: working tirelessly to rescue chimpanzees from heinous research facilities, most notably, from The Coulston Foundation, a biomedical laboratory with the worst record of any lab in the history of the Animal Welfare Act

Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation: Founded by Lynn Cuny in 1977, WRR provides a permanent home for a variety of mammals (e.g., wolves, bears, big cats, and primates) and non-indigenous birds and reptiles. Each year over 5,000 animals are brought to WRR, mostly from surrounding areas, but many from around the country; the majority of these were rehabilitated and released or given permanent sanctuary.
